Manon is a ceramic artist based in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Inspired by ancient Greco-Roman pottery, she creates wares which are functional and yet filled with sculptural personality. Primarily using hand-building techniques, and drawing on her childhood spent in Japan, she embraces the aesthetic tradition of deliberate imperfection and asymmetry. Many of these pieces may appear, in form, to have been recovered from an archeological site but are drawn into the modern world through theuse of colourful line work, patterning and minimalist sensibility.

Each vase is individually made resulting in their unique size.
